What is LipoDissolve?
LipoDissolve is a non surgical, no-downtime procedure which helps dissolve fat from targeted areas of the body. The procedure has been around for at least 3 decades and was developed in Europe. Europeans and South Americans have long reaped the benefits of this “fat melter”. The technique has been modified as new and improved research methods have surfaced. LipoDissolve was introduced in North America by the American Society of Aesthetic LipoDissolve about 3-4 years ago. It basically involves a series of small injections of natural substances including phoshatidylcholine [PC], an essential molecule in our cell membranes, and deoxycholate [DC], a natural digestive enzyme, along with a specialized Sōna formulation of fat burners, skin tighteners and metabolism boosters – all designed to work together to destroy localized fat deposits and remove them from the body
What are the differences between LipoDissolve and Liposuction?
| LipoDissolve | Conventional Liposuction |
|
|
| Minimal discomfort, swelling, and bruising. Very minimal, pinpoint bleeding. | Considerable bruising. Risk of internal and/or excessive bleeding. |
| No down time. Rapid return (same day, or at the very worst, next day) to work and normal activities. | Procedure results in down time, requiring time off work. Recovery time is usually weeks. |
| Minimal discomfort during and after procedure. A numbing gel can be applied prior to treatment to further minimize minor discomfort of micro-injections. | Significant discomfort. Prescription narcotics typically required after procedure to control pain. |
| Tiny puncture points. No stitches or scarring. Bruising is likely, but disappears in less than a week. | Larger puncture points. Procedure requires stitches. Likely to cause scarring and have been known to cause permanent “divots” in the skin. |
| No hospital or overnight stay. Procedure typically completed in less than an hour. Can return to work. | Hospital admission. |
| Removes fat evenly, with very low risk of dimpling, leaving skin smooth and rejuvenated. Some necessary fat cells are left in each area so if excessive weight is gained back it distributes evenly. |
Removal of fat may leave area uneven, cause dimples or even bulges. In the event that this happens, additional treatments may be required to reduce the dimpling effect All fat cells removed from the area so if excessive weight is gained the fat will deposit in an area not treated resulting in a disproportionate figure. |
| Extremely effective for reduction of localized fat and cellulite. | Not intended for the reduction of cellulite. |
| Tightens and strengthens skin. | Causes loose and weak skin that may require additional treatment afterwards. |
| Substantially lower cost. No anesthetic and no facility fees. Fees for the procedure are also notable less than for Liposuction | Much more expensive procedure. As with most plastic surgery, liposuction cost comprises three fees: surgeon fees, anesthesia fees, and facility fees. The anesthesia fees range from approximately $500 to $1,000, depending on the number of areas treated. The facility fees also vary depending on the number of areas where liposuction is performed, ranging from $600 to $1,200. The rest of the cost is the surgeon's fee. |
Is LipoDissolve the right treatment for me?
LipoDissolve is very effective for removing localized areas of stubborn fat on the outside of our bodies. LipoDissolve is not a general weight-loss treatment, nor a treatment for obesity. This is important, as it also implies that it is not “fast-food-proof” – (I guess this holds true of any “standard” diet or general weight loss treatment as well!) once you completed your treatments, you need to watch your weight, as your localized fat will return if you pick up weight. It is not suitable for patients with liver dysfunction, kidney disease, immune problems, uncontrolled diabetes, and certain other active disorders.

HOW MUCH DOES LIPDISOLVE COST FOR AA BULGING SMALL STOMACH.

1. LipoDissolve on the inner and outer thigh is a fabulous way to rid yourself of those stubborn fat pockets!! Sona MedSpa offers an excellent solution to this problem with our combination packages.
The package includes six of the LipoDissolve treatment to melt away that ugly fat. Two DermaWave treatments to compliment your results by stimulating the lymphatic system to continue to drain away the excess fat. Once you have completed your series of treatments, Sona also includes a complimentary Ionithermie treatment. This is an amazing cellular detox that will tighten and firm the treated area.
Dont forget about the take home products!!! All natural body firming creams from Paris to accentuate the already fabulous results!! The price will be determined during a consultation after the consultant had been able to evaluate your specific needs. Call Sna MedSpa at 1-866-GET-SNA to book a free consultation.
2. Lipo-Dissolve is a permanent procedure but it does not completely remove the fat cell from the body. This is actually a good thing, specifically if you happened to gain weight later in life. The fat will return in exactly the same places, instead of migrating to other areas of the body. The actual amount of weight that you would have to gain for the fat cells to swell again is approximately 8 10 pounds. With Liposuction, the fat cell is completely removed from the body causing the abnormal weight gain in other areas.
3. See the response to the earlier question re pricing (above). You really need to come in so our trained consultants can customize a package for you. To do this, they need to see the area in question.

What is the difference between what Sona offers and what Fig offers? I found Fig to be a little out of my budget. Do you know if Sona is lower in cost?

Very interested in learning more about Lipodissolve. I'm active (walk 10-15 miles per week) and eat healthy, however at age 47 I'm having fatty trouble spots appear especially my tummy! And I'd like to know if these treatments work on the neck area and puffy eyes. I'm currently a laser hair removal client and am happy with the results so far.
Thanks!

Let me respond to a few of the previous posts:
How long does the lipodissolve take to do? can the lipodissolve be done on your lunch hour?
The LipoTherpy procedure can be done on a long lunch hour. The entire process usually takes 1 – 1&½ hours. Please be aware that you will be swollen for the rest of the day.

These are two separate issues! We have no way of knowing if you will get dimpley cellulite after pregnancy, but we can tell you that it would not be from the LipoTherapy.

The only way we can give you an accurate figure is for you to come see one of our consultants. Some clients are not even candidates for the procedure, so the consultation will allow a reasonable assessment of your likelihood for success with the treatments. As always, the consultation is absolutely complementary and can be at any of our five convenient locations.

Typically, we can treat clients that are slightly overweight, but not in the obese range. You are on the right track with inch loss and not pound loss. Most people will lose significant inches but not very many pounds. The best thing would be for you to come in for your consultation for more information specific to your situation.

Would this help puffy eyes? I have been told that I probably have fatty deposits under my eyes as oppose to just retaining water.
Thanks.
